6800GS or X800GTO2?

Which of these cards will perform better? They are both at about the same price, so I'm kind of at an impass.

GTO2

It will unlock to 16pipes and overclock even better.

The GTO2 if you can find one for $200 or less, but I highly doubt you will. The new card to get is the connect3d gto - it also unlocks to 16 pipes and can be OC'd to XT PE speeds or higher. And it's cheaper too.

I'd still consider the gto2 the best of the bunch if not opting for a 7800gt.

Well if you can find a GTO^2 for a MAXIMUM of $225 then it'd probably be worth it. Other wise you'ld be better off with a 6800GS or maybe that Connect3d GTO card.
