they're all the same

based on the reference model...they might clock it differently...but in the end...you in oc it higher

and check if evga covers 6800 gs with their lifetime warranty

because their lifetime warranty is really generous
they even cover overclocking

I believe XFX has a double lifetime warranty as well, but unsure if that model has it.

i'm not familiar with the xfx warranty
but i do know that for evga....you can even swap to an aftermarket cooler

as long as you swap it back to the original cooler when you rma the card
they're fine with it =D

Also, there is the EVGA step up program if you purchase through an approved (r)etailer. They've really gone the extra mile with their step up program for people wanting the 7800GTX 512MB. Definitely a very consumer-minded company.

Is it confirmed that eVGA's lifetime warranty that allows overclocking applies to their 6800GS?

If so then I'm soo getting that eVGA. Otherwise, the next best looks like XFX.
