I didn't know that 6800 series had DVI capabilities? At least that was what a friend told me. Isn't that just a plain S-Video out?

No, even my 6600GT has a breakout box like that, and several 6800 series video card had only DVI connectors so your friend lied to you.

My 6800GT has dual DVI out, it also came with 2x DVI to VGA connecters however.

his one is listed as only working for ATI cards see link here.

But, would it work with the adapter on this card?

Also, if someone has an extra nvidia cable for this, I'll take it off of your hands for the right price
I honestly can't see any reason why that thing wouldn't work, but i haven't tried one myself.

(I must reccomend you get a different cooler for that videocard though, if it runs anywhere near as hot as my XFX 6800GT does)
