6800gs AGP? or wait for the 7800gs AGP?

I mean... should I blow that extra hundred bucks for the 7800gs? Is it even worth it? I'm already placing down my order for the 6800gs AGP and NOW that I see a 7800gs I can no longer decide : (

i dont think there is a major increse in profromance.

yep thats about it. Its 16 pipe 6800 ultra .

i can run my bfg 6800gs 16x6 @ 422/1124 with no artifacts at all. Unless the agp 7800gs can be unlocked, it isn't worth the extra money imo.

Personally I'd save the dough, get the 6800 and save towards a PCIe mobo.

Exactly. The 6800 is still a great card which will tide you over for a while, until you can save for the upgrade. That's my plan as well

Unless you have a high end system you likely won't see a difference between the cards. 6800GS ftw!

Night/Day IMO.
Well worth to go for the 7800GT if you already have a PCI-E board. You can get a eVGA 7800GT for 280$ at newegg. Sure they will be hitting $250 soon.
