Been lookin on forums and tomshardware everywhere but w/e

Athlon 3000+ @ 2.3
4x512
eVGA 6800

Ok just wondering wut would be a sensible upgrade for me in the video card area....i went to microcenter and they have a x850pro for $223 and i work next door to one......after lookin at the benchies i was still wondering if that would be a worthwhile upgrade ....id prob be spending around $100 after i sold my 6800

Games : BF2(as soon as windows 64bit allows me to install :\) and STEAM....maybe COD2

Not too terrible a deal I guess. But I would much rather save a couple of bucks and buy a similar card (6800gt, x800 pro) off of the for sale/for trade forum.

And yes, that x850xt would be a sweet deal. Micro Center yes?

Hmm, you could start with overclocking a little... A 6800 isn't too shabby, just like your CPU...

I think it would be very worthwhile if you are playing at higher res. I am guessing you have a plain 12 pipe 6800.

I had an x800xt but downgraded to a 6800gs when I went to PCI-E. So far I don't feel I am suffering but the card came clocked at 485/1100.
