6800 Ultra secondary display blanks.

I have a BFG 6800 Ultra connected via DVI to a 2405FPW and a 2001FP, running at their respective native resolutions of 1920x1200 and 1600x1200. Periodically (and somewhat unpredictably) the screen on the 2001FP will flash to a blank screen that will remain for about a second. It particularly seems to happen while I'm scrolling browser windows, but that may just be a coincidence.

I'm running the latest nVidia beta drivers 81.87, but I have had this problem for several driver releases, so I don't think it's related to the new version in particular.

Does anyone have any ideas what might be the problem? Am I just pushing things with the high resolutions?
