It was there. I saw it. It was the first I had seen too. About time. Fun while it lasted ;)

From other posts I've read, they only had about 50 of them in stock and were going to pull it from the website when those were sold. Looks like they're all gone. :(

The interesting thing to me is that by the pictures on the PNY site it was an Ultra but with GT cooling. Don't know if the mockup is wrong but that seems to indicate that the crazy Ultra cooler may be overkill.

I did a web search on Friday. I cannot find a site with a part number listed. Seeing an actual part number usually tells me that someone has a order confirmation that they can then list parts for sale.

As long as they start coming out in qaunity I will be happy. Won't be ordering till friday anyways so Im hoping this wasn't just a small batch like the X800Pros and Xts seemed to be. BTW if your gonna say hizzle might as well go the extra mile and say in teh, da, or open up a dictionary we got more words then anyone else. http://www.m-w.com/ P.S. Has anyone seen MSI 6800U, thing has so much software in its bundle.

Was the Gateway deal BS? Never had any in stock?

Personally, I think you should start typing in complete sentences, and perhaps spelling correctly, before you complain about this guy's English.

It was good enough that people thought it could not be true. I am still showing a shipped date of 6/11, which after a phone call, was told was the projected arrival date at my address.

NewEgg has an ETA of 6-8-04 for the eVGA 6800 Ultra. $559.00 + $6.00 for shipping seems a little steep.

I was wondering when newegg would start gouging people. They earn everyones trust as a reputable vendor, and look at the insane prices they are introducing these cards (X800 and 6800). I guess everything turns to sh!t in a handbag eventually. Even newegg. I most likely wont be picking up my 6800 til the end of summer. Still undecided on what flavor yet. Most likely GT, if that ever comes to pass that is.

This is not something new. Newegg has been doing this since as long as I can remember Newegg being around. They most recently did it with 9800XT. They do this with cards at the initial launch when the availability is greatly limited. Their prices quickly fall back in line once product is readily available.

I work for Best Buy and X800 Pro's are apparently on back-order. We had the X800 XT PE on our website for a while for pre-order, but those recently disappeared completely. I called about it and apparently they completely sold the pre-order, so they pulled it off the site. I'll create a topic if I hear any exciting news about the X800's or the 6800's!
