6800 U struggling on SLI

When I play BF2 on various settings, the game simply receives a larger FPS with one 6800 Ultra enabled. If I play any of my other games using SLI the games run significantly better. Any advice? Why would it run slower with SLI on BF2 Only??

Thanks guys/gals

I'd say that BF2 hasn't been fully optimized for SLI yet, but I am uncertain.

If you look here, link on anands benchie, you will see a large improvement from a single 6800U to SLI'd 6800's on the order of about 80 to 85%. But that was the demo. Don't know how the full version is different, but who knows. I would look around for more benches.

Ahh, here we go. You should take note of how much faster 2 7800's in SLI are extremely faster than a single 7800. So, I would say that Battlefield 2 is SLI ready. Link

What is your system specs? maybe CPU holding you back?

Not sure, but you at least know SLI works from looking at the 7800's.

Did you do an idiot check? I always give myself an idiot check after building a rig.
Just in case I overlooked something obvious. Like, power connectors, is my PSU powerful enough or good enough? Umm, Do you have a card that you have to flip around to enable SLI. Ya know, stuff like that. Do you have Cool n Quiet running?

600W Enermax, No Flip Card, Had the PC-Built for me.

The CPU whips out CS:Source at 130-135

You had it built for you? Do you yourself know your way around the inside of a PC?
No offense, but need to know.

Are there any options in the game menu to enable SLI rendering? Search through your game options.

no, nothing like that. I messed around with various options in the display and the game itself. The SLI simply runs slower. I dont know how to speed it up.
