ok well i got a bfg 6800OC about a month ago running fine and all on my xp2100+ but all i needed was a processor upgrade to make it perfect. after i got a xp3200+ the old 6800 wigged out and showed red all over and wouldnt show some text. i tired my old video card and it was fine so i thought it was the card so i rma'd it. new card came and now im getting artifacts all over the screen just in windows and freezes sometimes but it doesnt show that red this time. my old ti4200 still works fine. my psu says its a 430W and it says it has +12v@17A +5v@40A +3.3@28A. i know thats not all powerful but even when i disconnect all my fans and even my second harddrive i still get artifacts with my 6800. is there really a huge voltage difference between a 2100+/3200+ and a ti4200/6800nu? im getting a new psu on friday one way or another when i get paid. i have no way to try it on another comp. after i uninstalled the drivers and ran a driver cleaner, the 6800 ran fine without any of the drivers installed until i installed them then the artifacts started up again and i used the official 66.93's not any beta's. could it really be my psu not being able to keep up even with all my stuff disconnected except one of my hard drive's, video card, processor (obviously), just the necessities. i loved this card when it ran with my 2100+ and i dont want to have to get rid of it. could my 3200+ be pulling that much more power than my 2100+ did to make my 6800nu not work right? sorry for long explanation but i tried bfg and they just gave me the usual run it on its own power dongle, reinstall drivers, and try on diff comp.

Please use sentences and paragraphs. Yes the difference between an XP 2100+\Ti4200 and XP 3200+\6800 is big, mostly due to the video card. What brand is your power supply and what are the complete specs of your system (CPU, motherboard, RAM, power supply, cards, etc.).

run it with just the cpu, OS HDD, 1 stick of ram, bios defaults, the vid card, and try the beta drivers.

update mobo drivers, try the dvi port, or vga depending on what your using
