6800 Softmod. Reversible???

I was checking out the new softmod and was wondering if its reversible. I mean when it opens the bad pipes, how does it know which ones to close if you tryto reverse it. I thought it cant and might close some of the good ones and leave the bad open

yeah you can flash back the original BIOS, but make sure you save the original BIOS if the new one does not work.

um. I thought the softmod wasnt a new bios. Its included in Riva tuner. Also how do i save my original bios?

Yes, the softmod is reversible using Rivatuner. All you have to do is select the "Default" button and you are back to normal. I've done it many times because with my card, I have to be in the default mode in order to OC w/coolbits, otherwise the test fails. Once oc'd, I use RT to enable the pipes again, run 3dmark, disable pipes, oc some more, enable pipes, run 3dmark....etc, etc.
