6800 or 6800gt

I am trying to decide on a graphics card for my new system and I have narrowed it down to these two cards

processor: AMD 64 3200+
1GB 3200 ram

I want to play CS: Source, Doom 3 at 1280x1024
If this has already been discussed a link would be apreciated.

6800 has 12 pipelines and 5 vertex shaders 325 mhz core 700 mhz memory
6800gt has 16 pipelines 6 vertex shaders 350 mhz core 1000 mhz memory

The new Riva Tuner has an option to unlock the extra 4 pipelines and 1 vertex shaders that have been locked by software or hardware
so you can get a 6800 to basically run as a 6800gt but not guarenteed (the locked pipelines and/or shaders might be damaged so thats why they were locked)
