6800 oc problem

i just installed my bfg 6800 oc and a new power supply. After installing i went to load up my comp and the sony screen appears as well as the intel p4 screen the the monitor flicks and goes black.....can someone tell me wats wrong and wat i need to do to fix it?

Have you plugged un the molex connector on 6800OC?
Do you have another graphics card to try to see if it is the graphicsc ard or the PSU?
What graphics card were you using before?
 
yes i plugged in th epower cord to the card
yes i swapped my fx5600 back into the comp and it works fine

What is the new power supply rating?

I can suggest that you put the old graphics card in and un-install the old driver completely. Then, power down, put the new card in and power up and cross your fingers!
