What's the power consumption like on these recent 6800 OC cards that are being sold. I need a card for a SFF system with a 200W power supply. I'd like to get one of the x800s simply for the low power draw of the thing, but there are some really good deals floating around on the Nvidias.

What do you think?

If this card is likely to be too much for my Biostar IDEQ case, can anyone recommend another card that will work in that case so I can keep an eye out for deals?

Thanks!

It probably depends on the quality of your psu. I've got a 6800oc in my Dell with a 250 watt psu and it runs fine.
My components are:
3.06ghz with HT 533FSB
2 IDE harddrives
SB Audigy2 ZS
BFG 6800OC
DVD burner
CD burner
PCI TV tuner card
3 fans not including the 6800s'
1 floppy drive
1 gig RAM

You have fewer components so it may work. PSUs' are pretty cheap anyway so if it doesn't work $80 will get you up and running

Well if it helps, even a 9800pro is too much in my Shuttle SN85G4. It works fine unless I try to turn on anti-aliasing, and then I get artifacts all over the screen. Think I have a 240w PS. Others with the same shuttle said they got it to work fine though and some are event using 6800's without a problem (not sure if normal or OC or what), so I dunno.

on the box it says 300watt minimum... but depends on the quality as well.
