6800 no likey Windows?

I have a 6800 (fanless) that doesn't seem to like Windows. I flashed it to the f2 bios following all the directions, the flash completed ok, and I restarted. It shows the boot screens and stuff, but when it tries to load the desktop, the monitor goes into standby mode. The FX5200 that I'm on now has no problems, and the 6800 boots into DOS fine. What could be the problem here? Before the flash into the f2 bios, it seemed to work ok, but now I can't find any earlier BIOS on the Gigabyte website. The system is an A64 2800+, Chaintech vnf3-250, 1GB Mushkin RAM. Anyway, any input is welcome. Thanks all.
 
sounds like a driver problem, try running a driver cleaner then booting w/ the card and if not flash the card back to the original manufacturers bios
