Cheapest I could find for a decent brand is at New Egg - $345 for an eVGA or $369.99 for a BFG at Best Buy after the special.

Are these good deals or are the prices expected to fall sometime in the near future?

I guess this is your lucky day but, CC has this deal that just started on the eVGA 6800 GT 256mb video card. Unforunatly the cheapest one is AGP, but the PCI is on sale also. The AGP card of this is $399 with a $100 MIR. The PCIE is $449 with a $35 MIR. There is a 10% off coupon code also which I cant paste here. PM for that. I wish the PCIe one was the price that the agp card is, and I might have bought it. The agp price comes to $256 after rebate: /

EDIT: DOh nevermind, the $100 rebate on the agp one just ended 6/30. Now only a $35 rebate. $256 was the cheapest ive seen it, I was going to order but, I just cant use a AGP card. 🙁 🙁 🙁:disgust: :disgust::disgust:

If it were me, I'd wait to see what they come out with in the G70 range and what effect that would have on price, or what price the midrange 7 series is.

The only reason to get it now is if you just have to have an upgrade in the next 2 months because you just can't play the games you want.
