6800 GT Overclocking

I'm using watercooling nd it didnt help me one bit to OC any further. With stock cooling , and open case i was able to run 420/1.2. With watercooling i'm able to OC it to same levels. Coolbits says anything higher failed the test even thought with water my GPU temperature is 40C idle , 45 - 48 C under load for 30 minutes. ( with stock cooling it was 55 idle , 70 - 75 C under load ).

So my card is running 30C cooler under load with water but unfortunately it's not helping much. I probably need Vmod .

I mod the bios of my GT so that it runs at 1.4V (same as ultra) and it's watercooled.
The max oc is 460/1.25.

What W is GT using by default ?

any links to Ultra BIOS ?

( ps , i have pny board , but it shouldnt matter , they're all reference board anyways )

GT is at 1.3V when running 3D.

IMHO you should try flashing it with GT bios w/1.4V first, it's safer.
