Make sure it is looking for the card and not the intergrated video!

In the BIOS, change the InitDisplayFirst to PCIe, and/or disable the intergrated video.

Edit: I would make sure that you get video out of the 6800 before you disable onboard video.

Edit2: What model motherboard and PSU is it?

Does the power cable have anything else connected to it besides the video card?

Does he have AGP Fastwrite disabled?

Dnuggett:
On my motherboard(MSI RS480M2-IL), the intergrated video is considered AGP and the video card PCIe in the BIOS when concerning the InitDisplayFirst variable. That's why I asked him about his motherboard model. :p

Edit: Sorry =(. That motherboard has AGP as it's video card slot, not PCIe. Last time I go around assuming everyone has the latest and greatest.

Cohen: Make sure InitDisplayFirst is AGP and not anything else.

Sorry, Dnuggett.
