will it work ok?

I'm planning to buy this, but I'm not sure if it's sufficient to power a 6800 GT. Also, I'm not very sure it can handle the heat the 6800 GT will create.. if it's not the best for a 6800 gt, any other cards you recommend that I use for a shuttle PC? thanks in advance!

Power and heat-wise it shouldn't be a problem at all. Just watch out for the 6800GT's with heatpipes and large heatsinks, etc. that may have trouble physically fitting inside your shuttle. However, if you're going for a 'conventional' fan/heatsink combo, should fit just fine.

I have an AGP X800XL in my SB75S. It's huge, but after I switched sata ports (card covered the first one completely and I didn't have a 90 degree sata cable) it fit fine. Never seen any problems powering it either, even after a few hours of BF2 or FarCry.

That Shuttle only has a 240 watt PSU but should still be OK for a 6800GT. My friend has a MSI 6800GT ( NX6800GT-VTD256 ) in his SN85G4. Double-slot solutions will not fit. I ran 3D mark 03 on his system while recording GPU temps. with RivaTuner. The card read 63°C at its highest point during the benchmark, BUT I replaced the stock ICE fan with a ThermalTake SmartFan 75 CFM fan. I am guessing that the temps. will be in the 70 to 75°C range in a stock SN85.

Someone over at SFFtech crammed the new PC50 300w PSU into a SN85 but had to cut away some of the backplane in order for the lower-positioned plug recepticle to fit. There was also only 0.25 inches clearance between the PSU and memory modules which means that the PSU has to be removed in order to access the memory modules. :( It is a decent PSU upgrade if you can live with the drawbacks.
