6800, everything looks blurry

I upgraded from a PNY Ti4200 to a PNY 6800 and everything looks blurry now. From desktop text to games, everything looks blurry. I have a BFG 6800GT and that card and the Ti4200 look fine on my computer. I uninstalled everything and and tried using my standard refresh of 85HZ at 1024x768. Even other refresh rates look blurry. Everything looks sharp and fine on my ti4200 but my 6800 is blurry. Any fix?

I tried the VGA output and also the DVI to VGA output. Monitor is a 19 " Sony G420S. Everything looks great on my old Ti4200 card.

Check to see if any font AA is turned on. What monitor is this, and does it occur only on the windows desktop?

turn down your gamma, brightness and contrast. it will look a little better and not hurt your eyes until you can find a perminant solution.

My PNY ti4200 and BFG 6800 GT run and look perfect. This card though is blurry in both text and games. I removed the old drivers and installed the new card. I put my Ti4200 back in and everything looks perfect again.

Ugh, why not just use the 6800 GT its better than the 6800nu brotha

hmm....i've got the same PNY card and my text and games look great, as crisp as my 5900XT.
I suspect you might have a bad card.

Ditto here. Nice and crisp 1024x768 desktop, Fonts look good.

The 6800 was a replacement for the Ti 4200.

Three posts about this now! I know 4 people total that's complaining about blurriness with the 6800.
A TON OF PEOPLE ARE GETTING THIS PROBLEM WITH THEIR PNY CARDS!
