You get $20 from MSN for every $100 you spend... so for $400, you get $80..

How exactly do you get $100 back from MSN?

Best Buy is not a participating member in the MSN eShops Holiday Reward rebate program so it would not work as described. Anyway if it did, the math is still wrong. $400 - $80 MSN Rebate (4x $20 for each $100) - $50 Compaq rebate = $270.

You could buy from RS @ $499.99 and then try to PM with Best Buy and then do a AMEX BVG for another $100, buy RS does not PM other retailers ot etailers.

I saw Bestbuy as a "featured store"
I assumed they were also a "participating store"......oh well

In the link for INFO HERE you have above, where do you see Best Buy listed? I do not think they are participating in the reward program.

I don't think BestBuy is one of the participating etailers for MSN promo. It's not on the list...
