67 L-88 Vette Sells for Over 3M!!!!

Hi,

Never thought I would post in any off puter topic forum.....but I was born loving Vettes, came to cherish the early ones as I learned, 67 Big Blocks, specifically....and now, I have an imaginary 67 Tri Power, numbers matched Big block, the most lusted after Vette of all time.

Cept, in that year, 67, 20 L-88s were also made....and one just came up and was sold at auction for 3.2M!

Easily my favorite Corvette and also favorite GM muscle car of all time.

I love C2 Vettes, always thought they were gorgeous.

A '67 427/435 4 speed coupe is on my long list of dream cars.

Perhaps. I don't have that kind of money to tie up in a car I'm going to have to hold onto for 15-20 years and hope to double my money on so it's a moot point anyway.

Well, it's moot for most humans.....but that it happened should be noted.

Nobody loves rare classic Vettes more than I (cept many others:sneaky, but I still think this is batdoody.

A numbers matched, mint Ferrari F-40 going for a million, OK.....but common.

Got it! Metallic green. I am not getting why that was the only available color. And I still wanna see the vehicle.

Edit! I see it! Excellent rich, deep, blue not yellow green and with flakes. AWESOME.

Late edit: this green is one of the few excellent greens for vehicles. It is not Ceelo Green. Tho he is talented for sure.
