'67 GTO Eye Candy

Nice ... I would expect he has something else for normal use
especially in Michigan winter time.

There's a darker Pontiac blue that's much better, and Chevy used to have a Red that looked good.

I asked him about that. Apparently these are a very rare factory option for GTOs.

true, factory.

I was looking at 67 GTO's, some 442's but decided on a 66 Mustang GT. They are nice cars but huge.

long gone now (it was my first car) but the 390 wasn't offered in 66. 289 'K' was the best you could do. Mine was not a K, but made more horsepower due to using modern components.

Wow, that was a nice one, f-ing shame it got wrecked..

Well my dad got a 65 GT fastback shell and had everything transfered over. I bought myself out of it and got a 1988 GT with T-Tops. I still hear about this 20 years later. 🙂

but not period correct for the car, Pontiac switched to a darker blue in late 72 mid 73. All before were baby blue.

I don't like having my 461 painted that way, but I like having poncho power and not GM power.

Awesome ride. My algebra teacher, a 70 year old sarcastic black woman, had a GTO. That thing was pure sex.
