Newegg you can buy two for $360 with no rebates. It seems hot, but really the GT's are only about $15 less than the going rate for PCI-Express ones.

not even close, you would need a ruler with the length of 1 astronomical unit to measure the difference still.

HELL NO IT IS WORSE! In some cases a LOT worse, and that includes a comparrison between a 2x6600GT to a single 6800GT. In addition to that dual 6600's have 1/2 the RAM of a single Ultra or GT. While yes all totaled the amount of physical RAM is equal (256 MB) the RAM between chips is exclusive to each 6600GT chip so it's as if the whole setup is running with only 128MB of RAM. This deal is not hot at all. I'm sorry I hate to thread crap but this is a total jip, and not worth it. Get a 6800GT and save yourself 1. the hassle of setting up a dual card system 2. the juice that 2 cards will pull. You will more than double the ammout of available texture memory, and get slightly better performance. Don't get this buy a 6800GT instead!

Check it

Sorry OP.

I agree, get a single 6800 series card and forget SLI completely. It's all about the e-penis and has nothing to do with real world performance :(

SLI is a complete disappointment right now.

Well SLI is nice if your running some crazy resolution. Personally I would get a 6800 Ultra, then wait for the price to come down alot and SLI it. But I found this "deal" and thought that I should post it.
