Is this VIVO important? For me, DVI output is sufficient, since I think I can use 1394 to import video. I may not be correct, since I am not familiar with VIVO. I really want to know why so many people need VIVO?
 
VIVO is important because people use it to record from various sources like Consoles, DVD players, DVRs, or passthroughs on TVs.

You dont even need that, most new TVs (that you dont buy at walmart 😛) have a signal passthrough that outputs to Svideo or RCA.

Cool, but my point is you can watch TV on your Display without out needing a TV when using the Video in of your VIVO card combined with a VCR. This can safe you a bunch of Desk/table space 😉
