6600GT problem with Splinter Cell

Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow is bundled with my Leaktek 6600GT TDH. On the game diagnostic screen it showed that the video card doesn't meet the minimun spec for the game. This is ironic. The part that failed is "Non Power-of-two render target support". The games still runs fine but crash my system when i exit the game.
anyone with the leadtek is expriencing this problem? is there a fix?

btw Prince of Persia looks fantastic

hmm that's pretty odd. I have a Leadtek 6600GT TDH (AGP I presume is what you have as well?) and it worked fine in SC

Any decent graphics card has supported rendering to non-power of two texture targets for awhile, the GeFrce5 series definitely does. Which drivers are you using?
Some earlier drivers didn't properly report support for it to apps.

thanks va9.

i downloaded a newest patch 1.31 and i'm gonna try it later. the file name is rather strange tho.. "scpt_multiplayer_update_v1.31_us.exe"... multiplayer only? anyway hope it'll fix the glitch.

That's the one... except at the time 1.3 was the current version. However this won't solve the crashing issue on exit. Visit that link from above... should fix it
