Okay, so I probably won't upgrade my video card this year. However, I might look into getting a better heatsink and then overclocking it a bit higher. What coolers work for the 6600GT, and how much of a overclock increase am I looking at? Right now I'm running at 565/1220. Can I get it up to 650/1300? Or would that be too hopeful?

What platform, AGP or PCI-E? If it's AGP the only heatsink I know of that fits is the Zalman VF700, but that requires that the card have a seperate HSI (AGP bridge) heatsink. There's also some custom HSF made by stasis, but it's ridiculously priced. If it's PCI-E the NV6, VF700, and a couple other virtually unknown ones should work.

I think 650/1300 is asking for too much. Ive personally reached 595/1260 as my highest stable overclock with the zalman vf700. I hv the pci-E version btw

I'm talking about the AGP one.

I've reached 580/1200 without artifacts on stock, so those speeds aren't enough to warrant buying $30 heatsink.
