6600GT heatsink issues and Quiet AGP card

I read the anandtech review that indicated that most 6600GT cards have design flaw in their heatsink. Supposedly, it was easy to break the sink, causing the card to lose their cooling properties. Have you folks encountered this problem? If it does occur, how difficult is it to fix? Can I for example reattach the heatsink after reapplying some arctic silver?

On another note, does anyone have suggestion of the most quietest 6600gt AGP card? I have been told to look at the Galaxy card, but that's no available in the US. I was thinking of the MSI and the Leadtek card. HOwever, I have also been told that the Leadtek card is much louder than the review indicated.

so NOW somebody posts the silent 6600! 🙁

My Leadtek 6600GT just arrived last night (noise was a significant factor in the purchase decision)

Found one seller: Milwaukee PC but it's Back Ordered. Picture doesn't match either, but the part number does.

Is the Gigabyte card actually out? Only one place carry it. I wonder if it's a typo on the site.

Reviews indicate that the card will jump to 60C in a hurry if you don't have adequate cooling in the case. Has anyone use these fanless solutions. Silent is great, but not if your video, cpu, and harddrive is running at their thermal limit.
