I want to go back to ATI because I had some issues with Nvidia drivers and video playback and TV out among other things.

I was looking at a 1950Pro, but I would have to upgrade my PSU, which was more money than I am willing to spend.

I have a Antec 380w True Power 2.0 PSU and I want a video card that will be an improvement above my 6600GT... I don't want to pay $170 for minimal improvement when you can pay $220 (even though I would need a PSU) for a big improvement with something like a 1950XT... So throw some cards at me...

380W should be enough for an X1950Pro. Depends on the rest of your system. What's your processor/amount of RAM/RAM speeds?

Check out the Newegg recert 7800GT Vivo, $130ish, very fast, and leaves some $ for other stuff (like games!)

Yeah, my friend was running 768MB RAM, Athlon XP 3200 @ 2.6 GHz with the Pro OCed to 625/1650 fine on his 320W PSU. He got a new PSU for 30 bucks because he wanted more RAM and just wanted to be sure. 420W PSU, 18A on the 12V. His old PSU: 320W, 12A on the 12V. 380W will do juuuust fine.

As you may know, ignore the watt rating, it's more or less worthless today. 12+ is where it's at, and if you're overclocking, you want a quality PSU that doesn't have much variance on that rail whatsover.

What about 380w for x1950XT?

Specs (all stock):
3800+ X2
1GB CORSAIR XMS

And for all the people suggesting Nvidia cards, I said I prefer an ATI card

Only reason I would go to a 1950XT from a 1950Pro is because hte jump in performance is big for a another $60-70

You need to know how many amps on the 12v rail. That will make or break the decision

BFG 7900GS
Everyone I've seen is unlockable...so you're getting a Factory OC'd 7900GT for a very good price

YMMV

Looks okay.. depending on how much stuff you have in your computer and what the load is overall your rails look fine.
