I was happily playing WoW when my screen goes blank and I hear unusual lockup sounds through my speakers.
I restarted thinking it was just an odd incident, only to find artifacts all over the screen when I opened WoW (along with in-game). I tried Rise of Nations and the same thing occurred during the main screen (opening videos played fine for some reason). Frozen Throne - same thing. Pictures show up fine, but videos don't. I uninstalled the drivers and reinstalled (the latest one). Same thing. For some reason Opera gives me artifacts whereas IE doesn't.
My guess is that the video card has gone bad. I will try to get it replaced through Leadtek (don't think newegg will do it since it was purchased 3 months ago). I would like to get other opinions since this is my main system and would hate to not be able to use it for the duration of the RMA (probably 2 weeks) since I don't have another PCI express card.
My system is not overclocked.
AMD 3200+
Chaintech nForce4 Ultra
Fortron 550w psu
Leadtek 6600GT (PCI express)
All of this I bought at the end of December. Drivers are updated as far as I know (latest nvidia drivers on both chipset and video card). My WindowsXP has been updated.
Here is a screenshot of what I see.

I'm not sure when the computer actually takes the screen shots. As in, before it reaches the graphics card or after. If it was before, I'd be =) cause it should be fixable without replacing hardware.
I wrote all of this and all I'm really expecting is a "yeah, rma your card." I guess I'm hoping for some strange fix.
