it should be fine IIRC.

But you won't be able to game at anywhere near that res with a 6600GT, you'll need at least a 6800GT for that.

Hmm... well, I have a leadtek 6600gt and I ordered a 2005fpw. I hope it will be able to support it!

Yes it will work fine. You will probably have to play at 1280x768 for good FPS though. I doubt you will notice ANY interpolation in games so I wouldn't worry about that.

You should be able to play at 1680x1050 on most games. On games like hl2 you'll probably need to turn down the quality though, or play at 1280x768.

Right but that also makes the screen smaller. I don't notice any interpolation anyways so why not fill up the entire screen.

what the heck is the 2005fpw. i have a dell and i put in a xfx 6600gt into it and it works great, better then the 9800pro. awsome card. res is fine fps are good depending the game. i have also overclocked it a little:). great card for the money. you should be fine. HL2 ran fine, some low fps at times, but i am running max everything. Farcry is good too. running 1280x1024. if you get it, download nvtweak from the nvidia page. reply back about the 2005fpw though, thanks.

That setup should be able to run the following games in native res on the 2005FPW:

UT2004
World Of Warcraft

I have tried these games on my rig which is quite a bit slower (XP2200+, 1GB, 9600XT) and it is just bellow the threshhold for smooth framerates on both games. That monitor is pure dope though... paired mine with a 1704FP and I am in multimonitor heaven as far as I am concerned.
