Taken from FW taken from Techbargains:
Best Buy ONLINE(edit) is having 25% of all their PNY videocards starting this Sunday. Good price for the AGP version.

AGP

they also removed the 23" from their 50% off and the one store which wasn't cleared out in my area yesterday morning wouldn't give me the price...

Not touchin PNY.

Why not?

After the whole PNY 6800s from CompUSA having their capacitors fall off debacle, and the fact that their cards rate pretty poorly in cooling and quality build, I'm not touching them. PNY has been making pretty shoddy cards for a while now.

Check this link if you want the lowdown on PNY:

all I got to say is that a few people's misfortune doesnt necessarily make it into a bad product. Some toyota's and honda's are defected from factory but does it make them bad cars no? Sometimes you have good cards and sometimes you have bad cards. It's all up to t he company to step up their QA because I know some people who have had PNY for a while and their cards are running great.

Hey, if you want to take the chance, I'm certainly not going to stop you. But you were warned. Do as you will.

I can't believe people knock xfx over PNY. PNY=POS and I would not reccomend buying either of the two brands.

I checked every state and it shows that it's "unavailable". What gives! No best buy b&m store in the whole US does not have these in stock? 🙁

Me 2. Not one problem. It seems there was a bad batch with heating problems and now everyone dogs them. I haven't heard the best of their tech support tho. But tech support employees are not the ones building the cards. Just my 2 cents.

i have no problems with the xfx pci-e version also. i only wish they offered lifetime warranties like bfg. 70 dollars difference, steep having never rma'd any computer products after warranty expired.
