6600GT 2D DEFAULT core clock?

Just wanted to ask you guys what is the DEFAULT 2D core speed for the 6600GT?

What's up? Is it lower than the specs listed? If it is it's most likely downclocking to conserve power in 2D mode, and it will rev up when you enter 3D mode. Same deal with my old 5700 ultra. If that was your question I hope that was an answer!

Core clockspeed under 2D is 300MHz

Thanks for you replies guys. Actually what's goin on is that the drivers set both 2D and 3D in 500 MHz speed. Now in 3D mode it works perfect, but in 2D mode, unless I underclock it, I get artifacts. Funny thing though that the drivers set it to 500 in 2D. If I attempt to TEST for 499 in 2D it tells me that i cannot test the card and that I must lower the clock. What could be wrong??
