6600 vs. x600xt

So, the x600xt is priced about the same as the vanilla 6600 (PCIe). They seem pretty even in most respects. Which one is better overall?

it is faster than x600xt and it can overclock to 6600GT gpu core speeds.

Still both cards are too slow for today's games so I'd look at a used 9800Pro or step up to 6600GT.

x600xt has 4 pixel pipelines

They?re generally pretty close in performance -- but I?d give an edge to the 6600. It will likely oc better, as pointed out.
