6600 (non GT) vs. 9800pro

I am planning on upgrading soon and I am not sure which one to go for. They both cost around the same (the 9800pro would be used) and from what Iv seen the 6600 performs quite close to the 9800pro, so what will it be?

I don't believe the vanilla GeForce 6600 is available in AGP, only PCI Express. Makes it a pretty easy decision.
