I am currently running 6600 Gt AGP 8x at 525/1.05. Much lower than it can reach. I am getting crashesd while playing 3d games and such apps that use GPU intensively. My quetion is what temperatures would be too high and cause crashing? I believe i am reachin 70+ during the GPU intensive apps. Is that too high? Maybe i need better cooling or adjust frequencies back down? Getting annoying.

mine hits 89'C with the stock cooler, sparkle agp @570/1145. Completely stable and artifact free except in LOst Coast with full HDR (occasional small artifacts), but until i actually have a game that stresses it anywhere near as much i'm sticking at those speeds.

Just back off your oc until it's stable i guess. worth noting that if you've ever put any pressure on the heatsink it can pivot and loose proper contact with the gpu very easily...

A good heatsink would help tremendously with heat dissapation for your card. I don't know if Arctic-Cooling makes one for the AGP 6600 GT but perhaps Zalman does. 70 degrees shouldn't be too high since before I installed my NV Silencer, I was 76 degrees load.
