6600 GT issues

I have a new eVGA 6600 GT PCI-E card, and it runs fine, except for a small annoyance, when I right click on a video, the screen goes black for a second then comes back on, this only happens with movies. Has anyone dealt with this or a similar issue.

Thanks,

Garrick

It sounds like you system is changing resulotion or other video configuration.
You should check if you deffined it to do so, or if it is deffined so by default.
In any case it doesn't sound like hardware failure. You need at most to reconfigure software (according to what you described...)

hmmm...i'll have to check into that, would that just be under the advanced properties of the display settings? After the screen comes back on, it is still the same resolution...it doesn't ever change resolutions.

Put the movie in a window and right click on it. If there is no hesitation then your movies are being played at whatever their native resolution is when full screen. You can use zoomplayer and ffdshow to resize the movie to whatever your native desktop resolution is . See the hometheater pc forum at avsforum.com for more info than you will want to know.
