I was wondering if someone could help me out. My 465 GTX died, so I decided to buy a MSI 660 ti. I deleted my old drivers and popped in the660 ti. I cannot get it to boot up. The on board video is working, but anytime I plug the DVI cord into the 660 ti, nothing. I've installed video cards many times without issue. I'm wondering if anyone has any suggestions? My motherboard is an ASUS M4A89GTD Pro.

Thanks

Try a different DVI cable? Or different DVI port on video card?

Also how many watts is your PSU? I would imagine the 465gtx drew more, but maybe it slaughtered it in the process :)

Speaking of that - did you hook the PSU into the video card?

I have a 700 watt OCZ PSU. I tried both DVI ports on the card.

The DVI cable works with the onboard GPU, so I'm guessing it's ok.

The PSU is hooked up to both plugs on the video card.

I'm starting to think I got a bad card.

Is your new card in the upper or lower PCI-E slot?
Is the dummy card inserted in the other slot?* (*Note, the dummy card may be used incorrectly depending on which slot and can cause problems if inserted or not inserted depending on the slot).

Maybe double-check that the video output settings in BIOS is not set to on-board only.
