edit 11/17/04:
I've had 6 people email responses to the vehicle listed. What is the proper thing to do? Do I have to contact the first person first via phone/email and set up a time with them first ? Or, do I just email everyone who responded and tell them when I'm available on Saturday and say it's first come first serve, whoever has the cash to me first gets it? I want to make it easy for me but also fair for others...it is the Ninja code of honor.

1989 Buick Lesabre.

The good: 112,000 miles. New battery, pretty new tires, runs great. Never had any trouble with it. Just changed the oil and put in gas and it ran perfect. It fits 6 people.

The bad: It's a 1989. It's an old person's car. It has a big dent (with some paint gone) in the passenger door, but structurally and mechanically nothing is wrong with it.

BTW: I paid like $1400 for it in 1999. I recently got $1425 for it b/c some gomer hit me (hence the door problem). So anything I sell it for is profit in my pocketses. And no charity will take it, I already tried.

EDIT: 11/16/04 - Putting on Craigslist now....we'll see if anyone bites
A 1989 Buick Lesabre V6, 4 door, 112k miles ONLY $650 - Blue Exterior, blueish interior.

The bad:
Passenger side door is badly dented with some paint missing (I'll try to get pics up of it later). It opens and the vehicle operates fine though.
Power Windows are getting slow but should all work.
Power Locks are getting sicky but should all work.
Exterior paint is starting to fade/scratch only in certain areas.
Needs smog certificate (your responsibility not mine).
A/C has not been filled with freon lately, but last it checked it this summer, it was blowing decently cold air just fine...I rarely used the A/C anyway as it was just a short commuter vehicle.

The good:
Only 113,000 miles.
It has the 3800 V6 engine which is known to be a GREAT engine.
Good tires on it.
New battery.
AM/FM Radio and Cassette work great.
Cruise Control and all electronics work great.
I looked at some car lots online and on autotrader.com and many are going for $2000 or more. Mechanically this vehicle is just as good if not better than those Only $650!!

It doesn't look the greatest but it has never caused any trouble. It hold 6 people nicely. It has fairly low miles for the engine and year. It's a great commuter car or just to use to get around town. It has been proven on the freeway for longer trips in the past though (1999-2001).

NOTE: PICTURES ARE TO SHOW THE STYLE AND COLOR OF THE VEHICLE - THEY ARE NOT ACTUAL PICTURES OF THE VEHICLE I AM SELLING.

lol...that's exactly what I started to think. Kelly Blue Book says $800, so I might put a sign on it for $600 and if they offer $500 cash I'll take it, be happy with my profit, and go upgrade my guitar and/or my amp :)

Call around to a couple of churches or other charitable organizations and see if there are any families that could use a free car. Then take a tax write off.

Yeah, I was just thinking maybe a little more. It's straight profit, though, so putting a $600 sign on it for a quick sale sounds like cool beans to me :)
