Mass only gets about 80-85% of what they send to the Fed back. So no they are not a red state, i.e. not a welfare state. :awe:

And in case you didnt know. "Welfare" isn't distributed to states, it's distributed to people.
If coastal states stats get skewed because they have a higher cost of living, therefore higher wages, therefore higher percentage of taxes paid, that's not anyones fault but thier own snobby asses.
Coastal state are typically a lot smaller, and require less infrastructure. What Mass is also paying for is the infrastructure in the farm states to bring Mass' food to them.
But the truth of these stats won't stop morons like you from using them to further some dumbass cause.
