i know that clawhammer is older, they both hav same mhz and cache. why do amd make 1 chip with 2 different cores? iv heard that 64 bit processors hav trouble with 1gb memory, does newcastle fix it(or is it just rumor)?

BS on the memory problem, there is NO problem. As fas as the newcastle core, most of them (3200 and 3400 specifically) the newcastle has less cache and more core speed. Allways get the newcastle IMO.

Newcastle is a new and Improved version of the A64 for 754 chipsets..
the clawhammer is no longer being produced.. as with anything they improve it and phased out an older version...
A64 does not have a problem with memory at all..
it can do up to 3 gigs on most boards more if your board supports it..
mine is running 1 gig of kingston without a hitch...
