6300 OC voltage

Hi all,

Just to satisfy my curiosity, those of you with a 6300 and OCing, what voltages are you using at what frequency (F*M)? I have a 6300 B2 on a DS3. Apparently DS3 says the default voltage is 1.2875 v. I'm currently testing a setup of 400*7=2800 MHz at 1.2875 v overnight to see if stable (SP2004). So far so good 🙂.

Also strangely, CPUz always shows my core voltage to be about 0.02 volts smaller than what it is in the bios. Any idea on this?

Thanks all,

Vcore =1.30V
FSB = 401
Mutliplier = 7
Motherboard = Asus P5B-E

This is called Vdroop. 🙂
Edit: Vdroop on mine is .07V. CPUZ and the ASUS AI utility always show my core voltage to be .07V lower than what I set it in BIOS.
