6150 chipset mb question

Has any issues been reported (with the MSI or Asus boards) regarding using an ATI video card, vs. an Nvidia card? I'm looking to replace the on board video with a better gaming solution (surprise surprise) and I'm wondering if there are cards I should avoid. I've got an ASUS A8N-VM CSM though I may replace it with a MSI K8NGM2-FID board.

What is the 6150 equivilent to?

renethx quotes his 3dmark 2001 score as 5300, and comments throughout the thread discuss what video card they use.
