6150, 1x1GB DDR and either Vista Bus or XP

I have a new Foxconn 6150 motherboard with an Athlon 4 X2 3800+ [DDR]. In the BIOS it seems I can use up to 128MB of memory for the IGP.

The deal is, a relative wants me to build his wife and 5 year old son a computer for doing kids games, etc. He likes the Vista Business OS I installed as an upgrade on his system and he would like it on this new system as well.

My current XP system has 2x1Gb of DDR that I don't mind splitting to make the sale. I expect in a few months I'll be building a new system with the DDR2 stuff I bought recently anyways so I don't mind unloading the DDR stuff.

Just how much DDR would I need for a Vista Bus machine with an IPG? No multitasking is anticipated.
I suppose I could recommend XP, expecially if I suggest that kids' games don't as yet play well on Vista.

You could get by with 1GB, but I would strongly recommend 2GB for Vista as a realistic mininum.

But why install Vista Business, just for game playing? Wouldn't XP Home suffice?
