60Hz Refresh Rate Problem in Win2k, it's making me sick!

I was using Windows 98 for a long time and everything was fine on my GeForce2 MX. I upgraded to Windows 2000 and when i play games for a while i get a "carsick" feeling. I think it has something to do with the 60Hz refresh rate problem in Win2k. Does anyone know how to fix that?

Thanks,
Ben

Which driver revision are you using?

Are you running DX8?

I just upgraded my primary rig to Win2K(hours ago;)) and am running a GF DDR with the 7.52 betas and DX8.0A and am not having the 60Hz refresh rate problem(I was expecting to as I have seen it mentioned numerous times). If you have the DX tools in your control panel you can try the DD Force Refresh Rate option to see if that cures your problems.

go to www.geforcefaq.com
then search for refresh on the page. it will take you to where you can download a program where you can set the refresh as you want.

My experience is that Win2k is the most stable gaming platform there is.

Powertrip can fix that problem.

As for w2k, I used to swear by it. Then, I got sick of all the details, patches, etc. It's just a home computer that I screw around and play games on, I run 98SE now. Anyone want to buy a Win2000 OEM CD from me...
