600T internal loop with 3 blocks - DONE!

Finally got it done, looks/runs great now 🙂. Just need Koolance to fix the res issues that are present. Thanks to aigomorla for helping as much as he did ... hopefully we can get the koolance issue resolved though.

:awe:Nice work! I've never seen a three-loop build in a 600T; I would've thought it was too small (keep in mind I've never seen a 600T).

Looking great ViVi. Did you have any other problems with the bay res. besides the filling? I had problems with the O-rings when I when to change out the acryllic insert that came with the connector. Just wondering if mine was a single problem or if other experienced it as well.

You have the RP-452x2?

You're talking about the o-rings around the front panel, right? The loong ones, there are two that go around the front? Those were a pain to keep in place ... aigomorla recommended using ice cubes to get them tight, so they don't expand so much and move around easily....I was just very gentle when I pulled it off.

I removed both inserts as well, they were fail. You can ask aigomorla, he tried 10+ different ways/inserts/etc to get the proper serial solution. We'll have to wait on Koolance to give us something better.

I was going to use the 402x2, but my O-rings seemed to be about 1.25x larger than they needed to be. They were also overly oiled to the point that I just got tired of trying to fix it.

I agree with the inserts. I went to a regular reservior and pump after the ordeal because it just was not worth the trouble at that moment. However if Koolance does fix these problems I would be more than happy to try it again. At least I know that Koolance will listen to their customers after all the 360 to 370 improvements.

Also I hope they fix the problems of filling the res. That almost drove me off a wall to be honest. I do not know how they could fix it, but hopefully they will get a better solution than an on and off 100x just to get it fixed.

Glad to see you got some QCDs as well. After Aigo's opinions on them, I got a full set for pretty much each component of my loop.

I have a 402x2 as well, will be setting that up tonight with mcp350's for my other rig.

Both res's came smelling like fish, haha. Which o ring was overly oiled? They did seem pretty oiled, but I tightened them down finger tight and a 90 degree turn with my pliers....no leaks...actually, nothing in my new case leaked at all, knock on wood.

AFAIK, from all of the threads I have read, the issue is the insert, once they create the proper insert, it will be fixed. The other issue was having the in/out's up top, so you had to keep it full while filling...which is why my long hose feeding it made it easier.

These re's look great though, and they're solid as heck, being one cut of metal.

QDC's are going to be worth their weight in gold I am sure, once I swap cards out. The only question I have on that is, how do you drain water with them? Can I just push it in?

I will try to mess with that res. sometime this week to see if I can fix the problem, or see if I can get some new O-rings from Koolance. I had basically a film of oil on my acryllic faceplate and more than enough oil on the O-ring to lubricate about 100 O-rings.

I just made a length of tubing with a male or female end (depends on how yours are set up) and just act as though you were putting them together. Just make sure to have the end of the tubing outside of the computer 😀. I would assume that you might be able to push in the female end as long as you can be careful how you do it.

I plan to do my 402 soon, probably not tonight, I just got my 2xmcp350's.

sorry to bump an old thread... but I'm getting ready to install teh 402, starting to wish I never purchased it after hearing all the horror stories.

what was your conclusion for a serial setup?
-Long plug or short plug?
-U-Connector on the top or bottom?
-No inserts? so open it up and remove all inserts?

for bleeding, I plan on turning it 90 degrees (so the computer is basically on its back and the res facing straight up). then filling with a funnel. Did you guys start with the left or right side?
