A Stock Z06 can do low 11's and it has roughly 430rwhp, so add 70 to that and a 600CC bike shouldn't be an issue at all assuming equal rider / driver.

Don't get me wrong, when a liter bike just blows everythin away like it's stupid it does make cars like the Z06 and Viper look less impressive.

Umm, Cycle World mag did a did a bike test back in '05 and they did a 1/4 in under 10 on a STOCK R6. Only thing they did was use lowering links to fully compress the suspension. '05 R6 is essentially the same bike as the '03, so that's a 5 year old bike you're comparing to times of a current generation car.

So yeah...there goes that arguement...

LoL, are you joking, that bike isn't STOCK. They adjusted the suspension allowing it to launch a shit ton better than a stock bike. It did trap in the low 130's and supposedly the guy who rode that bike is the best in the world.... that test was NOT stock and never has been duplicated.

a 500+ rwhp Vette is going to trap mid to high 130's driven well.

And a supercharged C5 Z06 isn't a current generation car, quit being a retard.

Look at the name of the title and quit being retarded (look North and see "SC C6). Wow, you're intelligent! Maybe you'll look before name calling? And it's not terribly difficult to lower/lock the suspension on a car. Changing the suspension would be a mod, locking it down is simply putting it in a non-moving position. You're optimizing the stock components...

The rider isn't the best in the world, although he is a pro. But wait, when major publications have drag strip tests typically they hire pros. Hrm, I wonder why? Oh yeah, it helps minimize human error and gives a more accurate picture of what a vehicle is capable of.

The point I was making is a C5 Supercharged Z06 from 2001 can easily make 500 rwhp and beat a 600CC supersport bike, just like a 2006 could.

So you're point of the bike being from 2003 doesn't mean diddily fucking squat, who gives a fuck what year it was from.

I was using the 2006 Z06 for power comparison sake as that car can run high 10's bone stock.

It doesn't matter, you're a fucking retard as your statement contradicts itself as you say it's stock, but it sure as hell isn't.

Stock doesn't mean you can modify the stock parts, it means you take it from the dealer and don't modify the fucking car at all.

Of course you could modify a cars stock suspension? Who cares? That has nothing to do with anything anyway.

If you take a 500 rwhp vette and an R6 on the highway and roll race them from two regular joes who would have the car, the vette is going to win almost always.

I've talked myself out of a supercharger multiple times. It's around 10K for a solid setup that won't blow up, and that's a lot of money to only play around on the streets. I only have a stock C5 Z06, though. :(

I think I'll manage. :)

I don't know anyone personally that's had a supercharger blow up on them

And that's several SC Mustangs, my Jackson SC Prelude, various trucks, etc, etc. Oh and a WS6.

I know a guy who melted his Mustang's engine with a supercharger. All you gotta do is run too lean.

You don't need a supercharger to destroy an engine if it's running lean...
