600Mhz vs 670Mhz

I'm looking at 2 different Video Cards. Both are by XFX and are 8800 GT 512mb. The only difference is the clock speeds. Both come with a $30 mail in rebate, and the difference in price is $30 between the 2. The price listed is the before MIR price. So other than Core clock and memory clock speeds they are identical.
Price $249 $219
Core clock 670MHz 600MHz
Memory Clock 1950MHz 1800MHz

So my question is, is it worth the extra $30 to get the 670Mhz versus the 600Mhz.
Currently I have a 7900GT 256mb card and have a Samsung 21.4" monitor(not widescreen) with a native resolution of 1600x1200.
I play the following games
COD4 1280x1024
Crysis 1024x768

So the highest resolution I would use from the 8800 GT is 1600x1200. Also thinking up picking up 2 if it's worth it.

Link to the 2 cards
XFX $219
XFX $249

I have two of these running in SLI 8800gt OC

The first ones they released had the stock cooler and ran hot and loud, these are a little quieter and run cooler. Good price too.

For $5 more buy a 1gb EVGA 8800GT Akimbo. The cooler alone is worth it. Those XFX cards will be either very loud or very hot.

don't buy a 1GB anything, it's a waste of your money and offers no performance difference.

Either buy the cheaper GT or get an 8800GTS for about the same money as the OC'd GT.

same as GundamSonicZeroX. Theyre charging you an extra 30 bucks for something you can do yourself in 2 mins. The cooler is the same so you should be able to OC it to 670 no problem.

1GB is kind of overkill for a 8800GT.

I recommened this card for 209-30=$179 after rebate: http://www.newegg.com/Product/...x?Item=N82E16814127329

its the same card and the cooler is just as good as the EVGA one. I have it, no problems, and its very quiet.

I usually buy from Newegg, but I've got a $500 GC for Tigerdirect I recieved from work. So this is why I'm looking there. This is also the reason I'm looking at getting possibly 2 8800 GT's.

The other options I have are
2 x 8800 GTS
1 9800 GTX
1 9800 GX2 - This I would have to put about $70 into

But in the long run even if I get the 9800 GX2 and put in $70 my out of pocket would a top line card would be worth it.

If you have an SLI mobo, there's no reason to get a GX2, get two 8800GTS in SLI instead, it's exactly the same.
