Yep. Found this @ VIA Hardware(scroll down a bit). Looks like ECS is gonna be producing a $600 VIA C3 based Laptop using SiS 630 with Int. Video, Sound, and Modem. The q would it be worth it? I'd say yea for those who can't afford $1000 Laptops. I think this is great. C3 is the perfect Moblie CPU IMO.
 
That would be a nice little basic laptop for someone. Though it would not play games like quake, half-life and the like very good if they could run them at all. I have a laptop my self which I use to surf the internet or download files while I surf the net on my main PC. Also I use my laptop as a mp3 player which comes in handy for party's.😀 I bought the laptop for only $50 dollars which is a Compaq Presario 1247 and the specs are below.
