I have been out of the scene for about 4 years now, and I'm a little unsure of what is good anymore.

1. What YOUR PC will be used for. ***Gaming; FPS, RTS, MMO***

2. What YOUR budget is. ***600-650***

3. What country YOU will be buying YOUR parts from. ***US***

4. IF YOU have a brand preference. ***Always have been an AMD for cpu and Nvidia for GPU guy, but it doesn't really matter.***

5. If YOU intend on using any of YOUR current parts, and if so, what those parts are. ***HD, Sound Card, Optical Drives.***

6. IF YOU have searched and/or read similar threads. ***yes***

7. IF YOU plan on overclocking or run the system at default speeds. ***No overclocking***

8. What resolution YOU plan on gaming with. ***Not even sure!***

9. WHEN do you plan to build it? ***Within 2 months***

What I'm looking at currently:

Case: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16811147153 $45

CPU: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16819103871 $105

MB: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813138179 $55

RAM: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820231253 $80

Win7: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16832116752 $99

PSU: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817182199 $50

GPU: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814130570 $220

I'm not looking to run every game on the market at max settings, but I would like to be able to play any on "high" setting. Does this look ok? Any improvements needed?

Thanks

Great budget build. Try and find a deal with a more reputable maker haha. Antec has some 500w's.

I've put that exact same psu in four systems and while I don't test them as thoroughly as JonnyGuru, they all performed very well. If you don't want to wait for a better brand to go on sale, I wouldn't hesitate to buy it.

Yeah, to be honest I've bought both good and cheap PSUs before and I've never had a problem....well, 1 really cheap one started on fire, but other than that :D

I meant to link the 64 bit OS

Thanks for taking a look at this. Looks like I'll be pulling the trigger.....now I have to buy something for the Mrs. haha
