Haha, never replied in the iPod Nano thread. I can see the sarcasm

Just got back from the store, and GET THIS. They thought I was trying to scam them. They called all the managers over to look at the shoes, and they kept saying "There's no way Timberlands would wear out that easily." I guess people buy worn out shoes and try to exchange them for new so they end up with 2 new pairs for the price of one. Whatever, my time is worth more than that.

They wouldn't give me a refund, but let me exchange for another pair, which is fine with me, because I love these shoes (if they'll stay together). It's a slightly different style, but I'm okay with that.

By the way, this was at DSW Shoe Warehouse.

WTF, you broke it, and now you want to take it back?! What a dick.
It's like you bought a new car, and you ran it into a tree on the second week, and you want to ask for a refund.

Asshole much?

It's sarcasm for the 300 people that flamed me for returning my waayy too easily scratched ipod.

Was the OP someone who flamed you? If not, then SHUT UP.

who brought you into this?

I did. If he has a grudge against a few forum members, why take it out on someone who wasn't involved? What would that accomplish other than making you look like an ass? If the OP *was* involved in harassing him, then I don't think he's terribly out of line.

Just expressing my humble opinion. :)

Edit: if he was really just joking around, he ought to put a ;) or sarcasm tags on his post.

I'm not trying to take back shoes I don't like, in fact, I love these shoes! But, on the left shoe, the stitching is really REALLY coming apart.

What do you think my chances are of having a manager accept the return for these overpriced pieces of crap?

PIC

China quality at it's best.

Holy necroposting, Batman!

Didn't notice the posting date, Timberland quality seems to have gotten worse since 2005. No longer buy Chinese made boots or shoes, rather walk barefoot.
